Line-Up Announced For Washington County Fair
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Washington County Fair presents the 2018 entertainment line up for the 69th annual fair, bringing back to the main stage artists from New Country, Bluegrass, Contemporary Christian and Traditional Country genres. The fair kicks off on Monday, September 10, 2018 and runs through Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Monday, September 10 - Tyler Rich brought to you by WXBQ 96.9. Raised in Yuba City, a small farming community in Northern California, Tyler Rich found his love of music gathered around a Christmas tree alongside family singing classics and family favorites. Tyler moved to LA to explore various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist. His fan base certainly has grown supporting his independent release to signing a record deal with The Valory Music Company and publishing agreement with Big Machine Music. The 2018 CMT Listen Up Artist has moved to Nashville and became a road warrior performing with some of the genre's top acts including Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Justin More, Cole Swindell, & Dan + Shay. His single The Difference is available now.

Tuesday, September 11 - Lonesome River Band Since its formation over 35 years ago, Lonesome River Band continues its reputation as one of the most respected names in Bluegrass music. Virginia Country Music Hall of Famer and five-time (IBMA) Banjo Player of the Year Sammy Shelor leads the group that is constantly breaking new ground. With two stellar lead vocalists, Brandon Rickman (guitar) and Jesse Smathers (mandolin) along with the impressive talents of Mike Hartgrove (fiddle) and Barry Reed (bass), the band seamlessly comes together, performing the trademark sound that fans continue to embrace. Whether performing on the famous stage of the Grand Ole Opry or headlining major concert events & festivals, their loyal fans continue to support one of the most loved and most influential acts of our times.

Wednesday, September 12 - Ashley McBryde Dubbed as one of Rolling Stone's "Artists You Need To Know." "I hear the crowd, I look around, and I can't find one empty chair. Not bad for a girl going nowhere" sings Ashley McBryde on "Girl Goin' Nowhere," the seminal title track from her forthcoming LP. They're words built from experience: over the course of her life, McBryde's been finding her own way to fill those seats and sway those hearts since the very first time her teacher told her that her dreams of writing songs in Nashville would never see the light of day. Every time she was brought down, she preserved; trusting her timeless tone and keen, unwavering eye for the truth. It paid off. In April, Eric Church brought her on stage and called her a "whiskey drinking badass," confessing that he's a massive fan. The rest of the world is quickly catching on, too.

Thursday, September 13 - Building 429. Through their songs and their high energy live shows, Grammy nominated Building 429 is a band that has been touted throughout their 15-year career as "authentic and amazing-uplifting and unforgettable," along with being "truly focused on bringing glory to God." Now, Building 429 is sure to continue keeping fans on their feet and singing their hearts out with a brand new collection of songs. Their anticipated new album, aptly titled Unashamed, is full of artful anthem-like choruses complimented by engaging power-pop melodies, paired with raw honest lyrics, digging into the album's theme deeper than ever before. Unashamed is slated to release September 25th.

Friday, September 14 - Parmalee. Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and their best friend Josh McSwain (lead guitar), Parmalee are the quintessential American country band. Raised on a diet of Southern Rock, Country, and Blues, they formed in 2001 as a bunch of small town boys chasing wild weekend nights, but their talents eventually took them beyond the little cement-block barn they rehearsed in and onto country music's biggest stages, not to mention the top of Billboard's country charts. More than a decade of blue-collar persistence made their 2013 breakout single, "Carolina," into a Platinum-certified #1 hit, while their debut album landed in the Top 10. Two more singles ("Close Your Eyes" and "Already Callin' You Mine) rose to # 4 and # 10 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, and all the while they kept their noses to the grindsone, touring hundreds of dates a year.

Saturday, September 15 - Sammy Kershaw - The music business is an ever-changing model, and Sammy Kershaw has seen it all. From consolidations with radio and record companies to the digital era that we are now in, he admits that he wondered if there was still a place for his Pure Country sound. "I don't know if the fire ever left," he says, "but I had some doubts for awhile if people still wanted to hear my music, or if radio would still play my music anymore." "I thought to myself, radio might not ever play me again, and people might not want to hear me, but I need to do some new music - for me." So, Sammy returns to the fold with his first album in four years, Better Than I Used To Be. Longtime fans will find the music is very comparable to his string of hits that started in 1991 with "Cadillac Style." One Similarity between the classics and the new album is the songs, which are all about real life.
