Jackie Jackson's Critically Amused Releases Gold Lemonade's Video & First EP "Summer Lime"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jackie Jackson today will release the first EP and newest video from his label Critically Amused. The artists Gold Lemonade, featuring French DJ/songwriter Lya Lewis and Caribbean trap artist Jvgg Sparrow, blend hip hop and electro dubstep on their first ep Summer Lime. The first track from the ep is Many Times, the video for which was filmed in the Vegas arts district, the strip and outside of Lake Las Vegas and was directed by DirectorSM, a new talent from St. Maarten.

Jackson talked about his new venture Critically Amused last month with Billboard. "I have had a recording studio in my home for six years and it's something I have always wanted to do," Jackson. "Although I'm still touring with my brothers and we've got some big plans coming up in 2018 and 2019, this is all me. I'm very excited".

Another Jackson signing is D.B.L. Born in St. Lucia, D.B.L.'s island/reggae flavored track Another Round was released last month. The video for the track premiered on The Jackson's Facebook page where t benefitted from the brothers' following of 1 million+. The second track from D.B.L. is the saucy reggae joint Stackin Up Rax, the video or which will come out later this month.

Gold Lemonade is an innovative blend of hip hop and electro dubstep spearheaded by male/female duo DJ composer Lya Lewis and lyrical genius Jvgg Sparrow. Lya Lewis was born in the West of France where her passion for music was sparked by her father, a DJ/producer that taught her the ins and outs of spinning and production. At age 20, she surpassed her competition in a national female DJ contest of over 100 participants where she was named the best female DJ. She then signed a production deal with a famous local producer and began touring world-famous nightclubs in France and landed residencies at iconic venues such as Jardins de Bagatelle. Since 2013, Lya re-branded her project and developed her sound into a dubstep/hard electronic dance music flavor. This new DJ concept took her on tour across Europe and around the world. Jvgg Sparrow grew up in the Caribbean where he spent most of his time in St. Martin and the West Indies. Jvgg left school at the young age of 16 where he found his passion for hip hop music, later joining the group West Indian Devilz. He began collaborations overseas in France and soon after that he quickly landed shows in Europe. Jvgg curated multiple mixtapes during his time in France, where he was then connected with Lya which marked the beginning of their collaboration. The two have recently dropped multiple remixes as well as the tracks Paridize and Cake Up.

D.B.L. is a solo artist that creates a unique sound infused with earthy island reggae, hip-hop and R&B. D.B.L. was born in St. Lucia where he had always dreamed of becoming a star. With a strong passion for music and a determination to share his music, D.B.L. moved to the United States and then the U.K. to pursue every opportunity he could get. Starting as early as a child, D.B.L. landed roles in commercials and television shows when he caught the attention of Jackie Jackson, the eldest member of The Jacksons, who is one of D.B.L. 's largest musical influences. Under Jackson's mentorship, D.B.L. was encouraged to hone his arts as an artist in singing, songwriting and producing, as well as understanding the music business. As a testimony to his dedication to both, D.B.L., also an avid scholar, graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with honors. As Jackson's protégé, D.B.L. began to develop as an artist, learning how to play the keyboard and percussion, and as a performer booking shows in the Caribbean, U.S. and Europe. D.B.L. 's newfound sense of rhythm fuses that of Bob Marley and The Jacksons.
