Valley Queen Unveil New Single "Ride" & Announce Additional Headline Tour Dates
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Valley Queen's powerful debut album Supergiant is out on July 13 via Roll Call Records and the Los Angeles-based four-piece just released "Ride," the latest song from the gorgeous set. Frontwoman Natalie Carol penned the track after a pregnancy scare and tells FLOOD Magazine, "The song grapples with desire to move and the grounded-ness that motherhood requires. I dedicate this song to women that have chosen to be mothers-as well as those that have chosen not be mothers-and the courage that both paths require."

The band's previous single "Boiling Water" was described as "a gut punching shot of rock that leaves you wanting more" by Indie Shuffle, and Paste Magazine called it a "searing new track." The album's title track "Supergiant" premiered on NPR's All Songs Considered with Bob Boilen noting, "Singer Natalie Carol possesses a stunning voice that can rattle the walls and stir the soul." And Stereogum wrote, "[Florence] Welch doesn't actually front the LA combo, but lead singer Natalie Carol exudes a similar powerhouse intensity, one that continues to course through new single 'Chasing The Muse'" in their premiere of the track.

Valley Queen's live show is known for packing a punch and the band is not to be missed. See the band's NPR Music's Tiny Desk session HERE to get a peek at the power and passion that they bring live. See all upcoming dates below including their slot supporting SoCal punk legends Social Distortion and Justin Townes Earle. They've also added new headline dates to their already busy year of touring North America.
