Crohn's Disease Sufferer Makes Waves As Successful Session Drummer, Releases New Music!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Uno Prism has just released her new single "Into Place" on Soundcloud! "It is about being in a relationship with someone who you think can give you everything you need but, as much as you try, it keeps breaking," says Emma Welsby aka Uno Prism.

Emma's unique use of the vibraphone takes the spotlight with her ravishingly stylish nu-jazz-inflected electronica. Her vocals demonstrate the fragility of the situation in the failing relationship. But the music running parallel is bold and conveying a confidence that suggests she's willing to take a step towards independence. Bone-rattling bass rhythms, sweeping cinematic strings and electronic thrums, portray the track's resounding lyric 'everything I need' in a completely new light.

Uno Prism is music with a purpose, for both the artist and the listener. Written in the aftermath of a relationship break-up, because of her broken heart, she found that the music wasn't just cathartic but was working, to use her own phrase, as a "decompression from life" as she had also been a sufferer of Crohn's disease. Uno Prism's eclectic sound provides the carefully woven layers of sound which allow you to truly immerse yourself in a world which is free from everyday demands.

She had garnered a reputation since she had a background in classical percussion, credit on a number one album, and a stint playing drums for Harley Davidson at festivals around Europe.She is now utilizing her talents in a songwriting capacity.
