New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Join Luxli
Lights at the B&H Superstore Event Space on July 15th for their "How to Light a
Music Video on a Budget" event. Based on the music video they shot for Catskill, NY artist Liam Singer's Test Tone, the event will feature:
a live Q&A from the cast and crew of Test Tone
a presentation from Casey Krugman, DP of Test Tone and Product Developer of the Luxli Cello
The event will educate attendees in the tools they need to light their own music video on a budget.
"A lot of people are convinced that to light a professional music video, you need to be prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars," says Matt Hill,
Director of Marketing at Luxli. "When we lit Test Tone, we set out to prove that, with the right tools and creative vision, you can absolutely light a professional music video on a budget."

Though it might seem too good to be true, Luxli has made a name for itself as developers of LED lights that push technological boundaries and broaden creative limits. Only a few years old, the New York-based company has already attracted a loyal fan base, entranced by the fully RGB and bi-color 5" Luxli Viola and, recently, the new 10" RGBAW Luxli Cello and the 1'x1' Luxli Timpani. Of special note is that all of Luxli's design and manufacturing is done in Norway.

When asked what attendees can expect at the event, Matt Hill says, "Answers and ideas. So many DPs and videographers have questions about how to do more within their clients' budget constraints, plus save time on-set. Our goal is to answer those questions as well as offer new and innovative ideas for them to pursue."
In addition, two of the three presentations will be livestreamed by B&H.
So if you've ever lit or wanted to light a music video before, and wondered how to do it on a budget, this is the event for you.
