Nordic Indie Outfit Beezewax Share Live Video Session For New Single 'Rainbows'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Recorded and filmed at the band's studio headquarters in Oslo, the video's see the band perform 'Miss Playing Baseball' a fan favourite from their debut album A Dozen Summits (1997) and their latest single 'Rainbows' which premiered earlier this month over at NPR.

This new single comes with a trio of announcements - plans for a new album, their first since 2014's 'Tomorrow', headlining dates around the UK this week and a leg of shows supporting American alternative rock stalwarts Buffalo Tom in Europe this November.

Commenting on 'Rainbows' guitarist/vocalist, Kenneth Ishak explained:
"When we recorded our old album Oh Tahoe with Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, Refused, Millencolin) he would always say that Marquee Moon by Television was the best album ever, and it took us some time to understand that he was right. This song is pretty influenced by that album"

Taking the melodic pop precision of Phoenix, combining it with the punk-fuelled force of the mighty Dinosaur Jr, Buffalo Tom style earnestness and Superchunk energy Beezewax have near-perfected their special brand of indie rock since their formation in the late 90's.

With a heavy touring schedule including festival appearances at the likes of Primavera Sound (ES), Twisterella (UK), Out of Spite (UK) and Donostikluba Festival (ES) as well as club tours in the UK, Japan, Spain and Norway, over the past few decades, Beezewax have cemented themselves internationally as a formidable live presence. Critically the band has also drawn in praise from the likes of Q Magazine, The 405, Magnet, The Line of Best Fit and more.

This year Beezewax will release a new album produced by lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Kenneth Ishak. A process which has in no small part been influenced by the touring the band has done the last few years with words like 'energy' and 'harmonics' playing key roles in the aesthetic of the album.

"We wanted to capture the vibe of the band playing live together in a big room with guitars bleeding into each other as they would on a live show, and collectively creating the energy of the songs" said Kenneth.
