Fox And Bones Unveil New Folk-Pop Single "Little Animal"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Portland-based, folk-driven lovebirds give a sweet reminder that change is the only constant and to embrace life's journey in Fox and Bones' latest single release, "Little Animal." A song blooming with autumnal visual landscapes, this melody merges harmoniously with the approaching transition of seasons. "Little Animal" is now available for download and streaming on digital music platforms worldwide.

The folk duo wrote "Little Animal" in a hotel in Germany after performing for fourteen straight shows during their 2017 European tour. In a whirlwind of stress and excitement, Scott Gilmore (vocals and guitar) sat down on a day off in their hotel room to start writing amidst the overwhelming journey. "It touches on the concept that life is always changing," said Sarah Vitort (vocals). "Though it may feel like you may never be making progress, we never stay exactly the same for long. It's also a reminder to be gentle on ourselves and enjoy the journey, not just focus on the destination."

"Little Animal" was recorded and mixed in the Rye Room in Portland, Oregon, engineered by Matt Greco, and produced by Dominik Lukas Schmidt. Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Mastering (Sufjan Stevens, Foxygen), also based in Portland, mastered the single. Alongside Fox and Bones, "Little Animal" also features Peter Marcott, Jeramy Burchett, Matt Greco, Milo Fultz, Dominik Lukas Schmidt, and Nathan Alef.

Sarah Vitort and Scott Gilmore are the sweethearts behind Fox and Bones. Based in Portland, Oregon, these musical lovebirds document their experiences through the perspective of their quasi-fictional characters: Fox and Bones. There's Fox, a down-and-out it girl, and Bones, a rootless orphan bad boy with a heart of gold. The two fall for each other, decide to hit the road, and never look back; just as Vitort and Gilmore did upon their meeting. The characters, as well as their real-life counterparts, use music as the canvas on which they paint a new life together that defies traditional relationship roles and life goals.

"Little Animal" is the latest single off Fox and Bones' upcoming album, Better Land set to be released in October. The single is available for download and streaming on digital music platforms worldwide. Keep an eye out for new music and tour information at their official website FoxAndBones.com or follow them on Instagram and Facebook.
