New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country rocker Becky Warren is set to release her second solo album, Undesirable, on October 19, 2018. With the 11-track set, Warren relays the essence of the human experience and shines a spotlight on the relatable, common ties that bind us together regardless of our demographic. It's a record about humanity, as Warren distills the stories of a group of entrepreneurs trying to work their way out of poverty in her homebase of Nashville, Tennessee.

The video for her new single, "The Drake Motel," is premiering today at American Songwriter and tells the story of one such entrepreneur, Shawn Lesley. Lesley is one of many Americans sometimes referred to as 'motel homeless' - meaning they make enough money to afford basic housing but are unable to meet other requirements needed to obtain an apartment. In Nashville, many of these individuals sell a local street paper called The Contributor, which is printed by a non-profit aiming to provide additional income opportunities for members of the impoverished community. As seen in the video for "The Drake Motel," Warren got to know many of these vendors, learning their stories and proving that we are all much more similar than we think. For the protagonists of Warren's catchy, guitar-driven songs, homelessness is never a defining characteristic. American Songwriter praises, "Warren's video breaks down the barriers often existing between people. It busts the myths people force themselves to believe about the individuals on street corners selling The Contributor."

Produced by Dan Knobler (Rodney Crowell, Lake Street Dive, Kelsey Waldon), Undesirable follows Warren's solo debut, 2016's War Surplus, which was partly inspired by her own life and told the gritty love story of an Iraq War veteran and his girlfriend. Undesirable's lead single, "We're All We Got," features Indigo Girl Amy Ray and recently premiered at Billboard alongside an in-depth interview. Following the song's debut, Rolling Stone named Warren one of August 2018's "10 New Country Artists You Need To Know," saying, "There's a bit of Neil Young to Undesirable's first track...a song about rising up from the ashes when the odds are stacked against you - and one that highlights how effective Americana can be when it plugs in the guitars." Ahead of the album's release, Warren will be making multiple appearances in Nashville during Americanafest, including an official 'in-the-round' showcase at City Winery on Friday, September 14, presented by 30A Songwriters Festival. She has also announced an album release show in Nashville on October 26 at The High Watt.
