Thursday evening. From more than 300 companies nominated, an independent panel of judges comprised of local and national business representatives selected all winning companies. (The Most Uniquely Austin Award was selected by public voting.)

Music Tutor, a public benefit corporation, that provides institutional and individual music lessons, won The HID Global Innovation Award in recognition of its new ideas and processes for applying technology to music education. In attendance to receive the award were LMT employees, investors, board members and strategic partners.
