New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Norah Jones and Jeff Tweedy have collaborated on "A Song With No Name", the third in a series of singles that Jones has released over recent months via Bluenote/Capitol/ Universal Music. Produced by Tweedy, "A Song With No Name" was co-written and performed by Jones and Tweedy, with the latter on acoustic and electric guitar and Jones contributing vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, and celeste.
"A Song With No Name" follows the release of the organ-and-horn drenched soul song "It Was You" featuring drummer Brian Blade, bassist Christopher Thomas, organist Pete Remm, trumpeter Dave Guy, and tenor saxophonist Leon Michels, and the riveting song, "My Heart Is Full", a collaboration with Thomas Bartlett.

The Music Center in Los Angeles recently announced Jones as part of the line-up for their star-studded concerts, JONI 75: A Birthday Celebration Live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on November 6 and 7, featuring an array of singers and musicians who will honour Joni Mitchell for her 75th birthday. On both nights, Jones, Glen Hansard, Emmylou Harris, Chaka Khan, Diana Krall, Kris Kristofferson, Los Lobos, Graham Nash, Seal, and Rufus Wainwright, will perform songs from all stages of Mitchell's legendary career. Co-musical directors, providing the musical arrangements for the evenings, are drummer Brian Blade, who recorded three studio albums and toured extensively with Mitchell, and pianist and arranger Jon Cowherd.
