Belly Releases Anxiously Awaited New Album 'Immigrant'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Multiplatinum-certified rapper, songwriter and producer BELLY releases his anxiously awaited new album, IMMIGRANT [XO/Roc Nation/Republic Records].
IMMIGRANT marks a triumphant moment for the Grammy nominated artist. His deft, deliberate, and dynamic wordplay delivers a definitive statement. Rather than idly sit by, he speaks out against global injustices over the course of the record, bearing the power to incite real change.

The title track and first single, "Immigrant" [feat. Meek Mill & M.I.A.], encodes his mission statement in bulletproof bars and a hard-hitting and hypnotic hook. The triumvirate of Belly, Meek Mill, and M.I.A. proves fiery and formidable to say the least. Meanwhile, he enlists a myriad of high-profile collaborators such as Yo Gotti on "Numbers," French Montana on "Dust," super-producer Metro Boomin on "All For Me," and more.

Belly first introduced the album from the main stage of Made In America festival last month, while donning his popular "IMMIGRANT" t-shirt. Inspired by the hundreds of Families Belong Together protests which occurred on Saturday, June 30 across the nation, the artist took to action, creating this statement t-shirt. 100% of the artists profits benefit the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Born and raised in the Middle East, BELLY stands out as an immigrant to both Canada & the US.

In 2018, he continues to spread the message with one proud, poetic, and powerful proclamation that sums up everything: IMMIGRANT.

TRACKLISTING:
"Another Note" feat. Zack
"Xion"
"Who Hurt You"
"Immigrant" feat. Meek Mill & M.I.A.

To celebrate the release of the album, Belly hosted an intimate and exclusive dinner at Vandal in NYC with notable artist French Montana, Dave East, Christian Combs, and DJ Susse One in attendance. Vandal executive chef Jonathan Kavourakis toured 14 countries, including Italy, Argentina, and Singapore, to sample street food and the resulting menu encompasses both this research as well as a lifetime of travel.

Vandal's decor showcases the work of world renowned street artists such as Frank Shepard Fairey, an American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist and illustrator, who became widely popular during the 2008 U.S. presidential election for his Barack Obama "Hope" poster, and often uses political images in his work to fuel his message.
