One Life To Live, received a nomination in the category of lead actress in a daytime television series. DePaiva started her soap opera career in 1986 playing Chelsea Reardon on CBS's Guiding Light. This year's Emmy ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS on Friday, May 20, from New York City's
Radio City
Music Hall from 9:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET).
Enjoying her 12th year on One Life To Live, DePaiva is ecstatic about the nomination, 'I was shocked, but I'm thrilled. I didn't think this day would ever come.'
DePaiva made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 18 and is currently promoting her second country music release entitled No Regrets. She can be seen performing selections from the album periodically on One Life To Live. DePaiva has made appearances on Melrose Place, Baywatch, and Time Trax.
