The Latin Recording Academy Will Honor Four Distinguished Women During The 2018 Leading Ladies Of Entertainment Luncheon
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Latin Recording Academy has announced the four honorees that will be celebrated at the 2018 Leading Ladies of Entertainment luncheon, a platform which honors and recognizes professional women within the arts and entertainment industries who have made significant and indelible impressions and contributions to their fields. The Latin Recording Academy aims to produce in time, an extensive list of women that are and will continue to be great role models for the next generation of girls who will become great leaders of Latin culture worldwide.

The 2018 Leading Ladies of Entertainment honorees are as follows:
Rebbeca Gomez (Becky G), Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress
Cynthia Hudson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S.
Delia Orjuela, Vice President, Creative—Latin Music, BMI
Pamela Silva Conde, Six-time Emmy winning journalist and Co-anchor of Univision's Primer Impacto

"I am pleased to celebrate this very diverse group of amazing and professional women during Latin GRAMMY Week," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., Latin Recording Academy President/CEO. "With great pride and admiration we laud these honorees who throughout their careers have continually demonstrated grit, determination, an absolute sense of pride, and an indomitable spirit."

The private, invitation-only event will be held at Estiatorio Milos at The Cosmopolitan on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Las Vegas. Acclaimed anchor, producer, and writer Gloria Calzada, who holds the title of being the first VJ in Latin American music, will serve as host.
The Leading Ladies of Entertainment luncheon will be sponsored by Ford Motor Company, Google Pixel 3, Hennessy, Nielsen, and Walmart.
A portion of the proceeds generated from this event will go towards the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, which has subsidized scholarships for young women interested in studying Latin music at some of the best universities.
