New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Long Island rapper King Myers has released his new mixtape "MK Ultra Vol. 1". To celebrate the launch of the album, King Myers has debuted his new music video for "Time" produced by Willy D.

"MK Ultra was an illegal human mind control project done by the CIA in the early 1900s. I've been seeing conspiracy theorists talk about it and how it's in the music industry. In today's society a lot of the youth are heavily influenced by the music they hear and listen to, which is a form of mind control indirectly," said King Myers. "The idea behind the mixtape was to put together a body of work that was different in sound than my previous work. I didn't want to make anything that sounds like the current sound in today's hip-hop. I just wanted to make some great music that gives people inspiration, motivates, and talks about the things in a positive way."

Born Da'Shawn Ellis-Harvey, King Myers has been making a name for himself within the hip-hop hierarchy collaborating with Young Thug, Dave East, Rakim and Erick Sermon from EPMD. His fast raps and controversial lyrical attack helped King Myers make headlines with his anti-police brutality record "Amerikkka". Myers then proceeded to follow it up with the controversial anti-Trump track "Propaganda", which drew media attention from the likes of Billboard, CNN, TMZ, BBC, and countless others.
