After Opening Shiine On Weekender And Receiving Support From BBC 6 Music, Alternative Rockers Iridesce Return With Bbrand New Day'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Alternative rock band Iridesce return with 'Brand New Day' December 14th, after opening the main stage at Shiine On Weekender, receiving support from BBC London and Kerrang Radio and featuring on BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq's Spotify playlist.

Discussing the hypocrisy of human emotion, the contrast between the dark lyrics and the feel-good indie pop sound shows 'Brand New Day' taking the heart and soul of 90s songwriting and pairing it with modern indie pop, creating an unashamed anthemic sound like no other emerging band.

Written after a US school shooting, Iridesce discuss the two-dimensional emotions the media and political leaders put forth. The throwaway message hidden within the indie pop riffs, takes influence from U2, The 1975 and Coldplay, whilst keeping to Iridesce's unique sound of intellectual use of the anthemic soundscape., making a socio-political statement.

In less than a year, the quartet have opened the main stage at the Shiiine On Weekender after their debut single 'Rise' won Absolute Radio's national 'Find a band for Shiiine On' competition, as chosen by Alan McGee (Oasis), Andy Bush (Absolute Radio), and radio listeners from across the UK. The group also opened for King No-One, selling out the Camden Assembly in March 2018 for SJM Concerts.

As well as their live dates, Iridesce have received support from Gary Crawley's BBC Introducing London, added to Steve Lamacq's BBC Radio 6 weekly Spotify playlist, and were named featured artist of the week on Alex Baker's 'Fresh Blood' Kerrang Radio show.

Based in Camden Town, London, Iridesce consists of Marco Spaeth (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard), James Doig (Lead Guitar), Thomas Guizzetti (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Vincent Lafont (Drums, Percussion). The four members however, hail from all across the globe but came together as students in early 2018, ready to take the indie London music scene by storm.
Having produced, written and personally directed every music video, Iridesce are the definition of an indie band ready to take on the mainstream.
