Music-Rich Wisconsin Community Welcomes Return Of Rhythms & Brews Concert Series
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Our community really embraces these music events, and this is a nice way for us to bring back some favorite festival artists and provide a more intimate stage to showcase their talents.
Since launching in 2013, Mile of Music, presented by Tundraland, has inspired a variety of year-round music events in its hometown Appleton, Wisconsin community - including the Rhythms & Brews series - that extend well beyond the summer festival.

Rhythms & Brews is a weekly acoustic music series that returns this month, featuring a mix of favorite Mile of Music artists and newcomers to the Appleton music scene. Nicolet Bank has signed on as the presenting sponsor for the 2018-2019 series and will stage 24 concerts from November 21 through May 1. These free shows highlight original, handcrafted music in an intimate, music-first listening room setting at Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens.

A continued festival sponsor that follows the motto of "Music Makes Life Better," Nicolet Bank has stepped up its support to bring music lovers the Rhythms & Brews series this year. "Our organization recognizes the value of music and sees the impact it's having in making this a more vibrant, connected community," said Erica Shefchik of Nicolet Bank. "We are excited to be part of the effort to keep growing the music initiative right here in Appleton."

Shows are open to the public and will be presented on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Craft beer and dinner options will be available for purchase through event sponsors Stone Arch Brewpub and Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens. There is also a "weekly beer chat" for the Brews portion of the event that includes background on the featured craft beer from Stone Arch.

"Winters tend to get a bit chilly in Northeast Wisconsin, so the Rhythms & Brews series provides a nice musical escape each week and something for fans to look forward to," explained Dave Willems, whose firm, Willems Marketing & Events, produces Mile of Music. "Our community really embraces these music events, and this is a nice way for us to bring back some favorite festival artists and provide a more intimate stage to showcase their talents."

Rhythms & Brews kicked off on November 21 with performances by Twin Cities-based Siri Undlin, a Mile of Music alum who performs solo as Humbird, and singer-songwriter Luke Callen of La Crosse. Artists booked for the series include singer-songwriters from Nashville, Chicago, Minneapolis, Indiana, Michigan and several other areas throughout the Upper Midwest.

In addition to Rhythms & Brews, other community events inspired by Mile of Music and organized under the Mile of Music Presents concert production and promotion arm include New Year's Encore Eve, Showcases at OuterEdge and Concerts in the Courtyard.
