New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country artist, former Army Ranger, and founder of the "Downrange Leadership Course," Keni Thomas, is celebrating two Emmy Awards this week for Cinematography and Human interest Feature in the short-documentary film "Downrange, An Advanced Leadership Experience."
"Downrange," produced by DNA Files and directed by Nick Nanton. follows the first class of Downrange students through a riveting three day military-training experience operating in the foothills of Wyoming depending only on each other to complete their mission. "The Downrange Leadership Course is a transformational opportunity for everyday people to experience what it's like to be part of a special operations unit planning and conducting a military raid." says Thomas.
Thomas's latest single, "Hold the Line," is included on the all-star soundtrack for the highly acclaimed military war documentary, "The Hornet's Nest." Look for Thomas to be cast in a starring role for the upcoming movie "West of The Rockies," the story of an unlikely music star born of the california-country scene. Filming is expected to begin in February, 2019.
Thomas is a former Army Ranger who fought in the famed "Black Hawk Down" Battle of Mogadishu and was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. As an entertainer and motivational speaker, Thomas has also been recognized by the White House, Congress and was recently inducted into the VFW Hall of Fame for his dedicated work on behalf of our veterans and military personnel.
