New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bony Macaroni are making self-loathing cool again. At least, they hope so. Because, after previous failed attempts at life in general, these dudes want to give a fuck again. Their moderately heart-wrenching and semi-catchy debut EP will hit the digital shelves early 2019. With potential bangers such as debut single Piece of Shit and second single Doom, and now new single Bony The Philosopher, probably nothing can stop these guys (we think).
Bony about Bony The Philosopher: "the song is about my attempts to regain some sense of purpose after the loss of a truth that really used to be mine, one that i created, or maybe one others created for me. idk, real stuff."
Beware: Bony The Philosopher starts out as a gentle rock ballad but ends with what sounds like Bony on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
The first two singles immediately landed on a multitude of Spotify Playlists with several tens of thousands of followers like New Punk Tracks by Spotify, Punk Unleashed by Spotify, and Rocking Indie by PopFiltr a.o., got airplay in The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Australia, and brought the band critically acclaimed international press.
Emerging Indie Bands (UK)
- "Bony Macaroni are able to create music which has a distinctive cadence and sound, leaving the listener engaged both with the sadcore underpinning and thrashing around the room in unfettered joie de vivre"
Rock The Pigeon (USA)
- "sweet, anthemic pop punk with a pounding, raucous approach"
Bony The Philosopher is released this week on BERT music (a division of TCBYML), and is available for purchase/streaming on all known digital platforms.
