Rob Baird Channels Music To Explain Visceral Emotions And Grief On 10-Track 'After All,' Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Known first as a songwriter, Baird co-wrote all ten songs at his kitchen table in Austin, TX. Drawing on a range of inspiration from Lucinda Williams' tender melodies to the raw chords of James McMurtry, each track is a personal exploration of their own, resulting in a roadmap of Baird's method of coping with a breakup.

The album opener and title track foreshadow a doomed relationship, while songs like "Ain't Going Back To You" and "Give Me Back My Love" are outbursts of anger fueled by electric guitar riffs and animosity. Heavy folk-rock ballad "Burning Blue" pairs with acoustic strums and staccato strings to find beauty in the chaos, and "Green Grass" migrates to newfound healing and moving on to a rejuvenated outlook.

Recorded at Battle Tapes Studio in East Nashville and produced by Rick Brantley under the direction of Jeremy Ferguson (Cage the Elephant, Lucie Silvas, Andrew Combs), 'After All' follows Baird's 2016 'Wrong Side Of The River,' which earned praise by NPR Music, USA Today, SPIN, Rolling Stone Country, American Songwriter, Texas Monthly and more.

Here's what critics are saying about 'After All'
"true conviction and a bucketful of talent" - PARADE

"Baird's plaintive, aching delivery is wonderfully gripping… Lend this man your ears" - Music Row
"a slow burn" - Bluegrass Situation
"sure to be one of the year's best explorations of loss, pain and vulnerability" - Wide Open Country
