New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Don't Cry" featuring the late XXXTentacion was a crowd pleaser on the project. In the visual, Weezy finds himself inhabiting a mystical world filled with sages. Throughout the video, which was directed by Jay and Georgio Rodriguez, Weezy is either sitting on a throne or kicking it with a lady as he mouths the lyrics to the song.

Wayne dropped off his highly anticipated and delayed Tha Carter V back on September 28, 2018. The album boasted features from Reginae Carter, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz, Kendrick Lamar, Sosamann, Ashanti, Mack Maine, Nivea, Travis Scott, and the aforementioned XXXTentacion. The project debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and moved 480,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

The track itself is one that finds X belting out a passionate hook with instructions to hold your tears back. On his end of things, Weezy spits bars about his struggles over the last few years.
"Don't call it a comeback/It was dark, now the sun back/Hit me hard, but I punched back
The wheels fell off, I rode the hubcap," Wayne raps on the track.

"I ain't sh*t without my fans-plain and simple," Wayne said in the recently released I Ain't Sh*t Without You documentary. "I'm an artist that got big off of putting out free music. I started putting mixtapes out, that's how I always did it … just giving out free music. I always wanted to be heard, and you listen." Check out the new video on Top40-Charts.com!
