New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Future has scored his sixth no. 1 album in three years, five months and three weeks! The WIZRD marks his last release through Epic Records. "It's a long road, heading down this road I know how to maneuver down," he said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. "I know how to detour off this road, also. That's The WIZRD." It's currently not clear who he will be signing with, if anyone, for his next project.
Future netted six straight No. 1's in the shortest span of time for an artist since Elton John did it in the 1970s. He's the first artist to grab the top slot this quickly and consistently since Elton John landed six No. 1 albums in a little over three years.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's Hoodie SZN drops to #3, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack slips to #4, and 21 Savage's I Am > I Was dips to #5. Meek Mill's Championships (#6), Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys (#7), and Travis Scott's Astroworld (#10) remained in the Top 10.
