New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On a day surrounded with the celebration of love, singer/songwriter PIPER HAYS resonates with those who are coping with loss with the release of her second single, the solacing "For You," taken off her upcoming debut full-length studio album VAGABLONDE.

"'For You' is a special song to me," shares PIPER. "I wrote it when tragedy struck a few different friend groups of mine and I was confused and sad and feeling a bit lost. It was a way for me to heal myself by healing others. I wanted to reinforce how being there for your friends and loved ones helps get you through difficult times."
"Every single person has experienced loss in some way shape or form and that feeling of hopelessness and sadness is hard to go through alone," she continues. "I hope that by releasing this song I can comfort my listeners and remind them that "this life may be cruel but there's more than one shade of blue."

Scheduled for release on March 8, VAGABLONDE was recorded in Memphis, TN at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Studio with Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Matt Ross-Spang, noted for his work with Jason Isbell and Margo Price as well as for mixing 17 previously unreleased tracks from Elvis' 1976 sessions from The Jungle Room at Graceland.

"Her supple vocal style recalls the nuance and richness of Norah Jones with the gripping dramatic earthiness of Adele," declares The Art Of LA. The self-declared "astro-soul" musician draws influence on the album's 11 tracks from her time spent busking across Europe with solely her backpack and guitar while channeling her love of soul, rock and roll, jazz and blues.

PIPER HAYS will celebrate the release of VAGABLONDE on its' release date with a free show at State Social House in West Hollywood where she will showcase several songs from the album, including her special rendition of "I'd Love To Change The World," originally released in 1971 by British blues-rock group Ten Years After. PIPER has also announced a new headlining show on Saturday, March 23 at The Mint in Los Angeles.
