New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Since the start of February, PJ Morton has played the Super Bowl Halftime show, won a Grammy, and sold out the Kennedy Center, but has now returned with his first new song of the year. Today, he and JoJo drop "Say So," slow jamming Valentine's Day with Morton's "buttery-smooth vocals" (The New Yorker) and the tender truth, "nobody wants to be in love alone."

Stream "Say So" - out now everywhere - here: https://youtu.be/1JCUW14X6hk
Of the collaboration, Morton says, "I've always been a fan of JoJo, even back in the TRL days. Her talent was always out of this world. I knew that I wanted to make 'Say So' a duet and wanted to make sure it was with a voice I truly believed in. I saw that she was free and clear from her previous label complications, and I jumped at a chance to work with her! I reached out and she was down. She flew down to New Orleans and it all flowed so perfectly."

With a "soulful, passionate taste that lovers could sink into at any stage of their relationship" (BET), PJ Morton is well-versed in setting romance to song - his rendition of "How Deep Is Your Love" with Yebba just earned the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance on Sunday. He'll bring that one and the rest of Best R&B Album-nominated Gumbo Unplugged to Kennedy Center tonight, as he reunites with the Matt Jones Orchestra for a one-time-only Valentine's show.

While 2019 is already a landmark year for PJ Morton, it's still only just begun. On April 5th, he headlines the opening night of Steve McQueen's Soundtrack of America series at the eagerly anticipated Manhattan arts center The Shed, weeks before a hometown set at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. More dates, music, and Morton Records signings are also in the works.
