Taking their cues from the likes of Arcade Fire,
Talking Heads and Foals, in just a few years the band have appeared at a range of notable festivals including Longitude, Electric Picnic and Sea Sessions. Their releases have garnered support from Today FM, Spin, BBC Northern Island, RTE
Radio 1 and RTE2FM.
The band have been making their mark with wild, energetic performances in national slots supporting Glen Hansard, Le Galaxie and Delorentos as well as their own UK tour and headline appearances as Whelan's, the Roisin Dubh and the
Spirit Store. Last year also saw the collective perform for the first time at Ireland's leading live music series Other Voices.
"Elements that make Third Smoke come across like a good bet include a lead singer (Hugh Donlon, lanky, slim, the owner of a haircut that has seen better barbers) who isn't afraid of using the small venue space to the best of his ability (in other words, he's a nutter)" - Tony Clayton Lea - Other Voices 2019.
Driven by raw vocals and an infectious melody, 'We Run In Bare Feet' maps the struggle to break free from self-imposed realities and remove oneself from the inertia of routine in order to live a more fulfilling existence.
Combining powerful vocals, an unrelenting rhythm and a sense of carefree abandon, 'We Run In Bare Feet' is set for release March 22nd on all digital streaming platforms.
