Solange Releases New Album 'When I Get Home'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Solange has released her new album. The follow-up to 2016's A Seat at the Table is called When I Get Home, and it features contributions from Panda Bear, Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator, Gucci Mane, Playboi Carti, Dev Hynes, Cassie, Pharrell, Sampha, and many more.

The project, described as more "warm, fluid, and sensual" than 2016's A Seat at the Table, was recorded at various locations including New Orleans, Jamaica, and California's Topanga Canyon. "The album is an exploration of origin," reads a press release. "It asks the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution. The artist returned to Third Ward Houston to answer this."

To celebrate the release, Solange has also announced that a special event will take place across Houston's Third Ward on March 3. More details can be found on her website. Stream When I Get Home below:
