New York, NY (Top40 Charts) CCMA-Award Winning Canadian country star Chad Brownlee releases the music video for his latest single "Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere" via Universal Music. Directed by award-winning director Ben Knechtel (The Reklaws, James Barker Band, Jade Eagleson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Scott Helman), the music video was filmed in Brownlee's homebase along the stunning west coast British Columbia and features Brownlee's beloved dog, Ellie.

"I've shot many videos over the years in a variety of different places, but it's always extra special when it's somewhere that feels so connected to who I am," said Brownlee. "For the past 3 years I've called the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia home and it didn't take long to fall in love with its calming yet breathtaking beauty. When Ben proposed the idea of shooting 'Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere' along this beautiful coastline in order to really capture who I am amongst a place that feeds my soul, it was an instant yes. Each scene was shot in a place you could find me wandering through the woods or along the shore with my dog Ellie. This time I just happened to have a camera follow me while my song played! It was a magical couple days with the weather Gods smiling down on us. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we did making it!"

"Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere" is the second single released from Brownlee's upcoming debut album with his major label record deal with Universal Music Canada, and is about making that bold first move in introducing yourself to someone new. Since its release in January 2019, the single has continued to climb key partner playlists and secured the #1 spot on the iTunes charts. Solidifying his return with the signature sound that fans know and love, but with a fresh new flair, "Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere" arrived as follow-up to Brownlee's chart-topping major label debut single, "Dear Drunk Me." which hit #2 on the Canadian Country music charts, marking his first ever Top Five single.

A modest and humble Canadian country music artist from British Columbia, Chad Brownlee has drive and motivation like no other. In the company of his loyal companion - his dog Ellie - the soft spoken artist has spent the past few years pondering life in his cabin near the ocean nestled among the trees where he is comforted by the wilderness around him. Brownlee's time of reflection has opened a new insight with him. In late 2017 , Brownlee made a monumental business decision to have a new start by signing with Canada's Universal Music, and the new Canadian powerhouse management company, Starseed Entertainment (also manages the James Barker Band, The Reklaws, and Jade Eagleson) which is led by Shannon McNevan (Founder of Boots and Hearts and WayHome Music & Arts Festivals) and Don Green (former President of the CCMAs). With Brownlee and his new team enthusiastically venturing into new beginnings, Chad Brownlee has embarked on his return, with the release of "Dear Drunk Me" and "Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere" and is currently in the process of finishing off his major label debut album.

Once a Vancouver Canucks draft pick, now a critically acclaimed country music star, Brownlee holds numerous accolades including a highly coveted JUNO nomination for Country Album of the Year, and consecutive Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Award nominations for Male Artist of the Year (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018), Fan's Choice Award (2017, 2018), Album of the Year (2016) amongst many more. His catalogue includes a number of top ten singles, with fan-favourites like, "Hood Of My Car", "Love Me Or Leave Me", and gold-certified "I Hate You For It" - proving the steady stream of love for Brownlee's sound and words.

The ruggedly charming country singer's raw talent mixed with heartbreak inspires his pop, country and rock sound that echoes Jack Johnson's songwriting and Dierks Bentley's charisma. Brownlee's genuine intentions, sensitivities and romantic sentiments are reminiscent of Brett Young and Luke Combs. His polished and infectious music leaves his past behind with an honest and deep rooted authenticity while the sincerity of his songwriting is captivatingly grounded in the discomfort and distress of certain endings and specific goodbyes.
