Indie-Pop Duo Ministry Of Mars Return With 'Recognise'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie Pop duo Ministry of Mars return with synth-pop anthem 'Recognise' April 26th, written and produced at the legendary Abbey Road Studios taking inspiration from the likes of The 1975, LANY and The Japanese House. Forming just last year, brothers Alistair and Jon Marsden grew up in Brisbane, Queensland, where they both achieved solo success before becoming Ministry of Mars. Winning awards such as the Queensland Music Award, Perth's Into the Limelite and Gympie's 9k=

AICM 'Voice of Urban' competition, the brothers now join forces to create pristine indie-pop anthems.
When explaining the meaning behind the track, Ministry of Mars stated: "Recognise was the first song we wrote during our writing session at Abbey Road Studios. Being in that particular environment to write and record was very inspiring and euphoric to produce the track. The night before our studio session we saw one of our major influences, The 1975, at the O2 arena. We wanted to emulate that feeling and level of production those guys have."

Their debut single 'Breaking Me' was released on the 30th of November 2018 which has achieved great success in such a short time. On Spotify alone, Breaking Me has been added to over 500 playlists and accumulated over 50,000 streams.

Now, the duo return with their most personal and emotionally charged track to date. 'Recognise' is set to release April 26th and will be distributed through Distrokid.
