LOS ANGELES (Rufftown Entertainment/ www.rufftown.com) - Two-time Grammy nominated RENE' is embarking upon an exciting Southern tour during the month of May. This down home swing will take him, B.E.T'S SPEEDY, along with the RENE' band to many of the South's hottest nightspots. This begins a succession of concerts across the country over the next year. His earlier hits include "My First Love," "You Don't Have To Cry," and "I'll be Good." He will also be singing some of the new songs from his new " STREET SONGZ" CD, In Stores Now!!

RENE will be coming at you "ALL NIGHT LONG," one of his hits on the new project. If you want to get your laugh on, don't miss this tour. SPEEDY will keep you in stitches. His material is fresh and full of excitement, but most of all he is one of the funniest guys you will ever have the opportunity of hearing. He gets your night off to a roaring start.

Some of the cities where they will be performing "live" include Shreveport, Louisiana, May 4th at Club Mabel's, May 5th Texarkana, Arkansas, Four States Fairground, May 6th, Little Rock, Arkansas, Statehouse Convention Center, and May 7th Alexandria, Louisiana, Louisiana Convention Center.
Then they will travel a little further south encompassing cities such as New Orleans, May 11th, at Club Lotus. On May 12th they will appear at Mikhail's Convention Center in Jackson, Mississippi. May 13th they will journey on to Montgomery, Alabama, performing at The Alcazar Shriner, and finishing that week on a high note at the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame on the 14th of May.

To finish off the month of May they will be in Georgia on the 26th, venue to be announced, the 27th they will be in Augusta, Georgia at the infamous Club Malibu, the 28th they will be performing at Amos' Southend in Charlotte, North Carolina and the 29th they will be "Raising The Roof "at a local venue to be announced in the South Carolina area.
