NEW YORK, NY (Atlantic Records) - Atlantic recording group P.O.D. has unveiled details of their eagerly awaited headlining spring tour of the United States. The month-long trek comes in the wake of the Southern California-based band's fourth full-length label release, "TESTIFY."

The tour - dubbed "The Warriors Tour 2: Guilty By Association" - recalls the punk rock spirit of the band's original Warriors Tour of 1998, with smaller venues and cheap tickets. Opening on April 20th at Philadelphia's Trocadero (see attached itinerary), the multi-artist road show will travel the country through a May 21st stop at Seattle's The Showbox. P.O.D.'s three special guests on all dates will be Pillar, the Chariot (featuring Josh Scogin from Norma Jean), and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster (fronted by Underoath's Dallas Taylor).

P.O.D. recently scored their fourth No 1 video on MTV's "Total Request Live" - an unprecedented achievement for a rock band. "Goodbye For Now" joins the ranks of the band's previous countdown-topping videos, "Rock The Party," "Alive," and "Will You." In addition, Sonny and Wuv co-hosted MTV2's "T-Minus Rock" countdown. By week's end, the Warriors had spoken, voting "Goodbye For Now" into the No 1 position.

Tomorrow, March 8th, P.O.D. will return to New York City's Times Square for an appearance in conjunction with the launch of a new Diet Mountain Dew ad campaign. The band will join Olympic Gold Medalists Shaun White and Hannah Teter at a specially built snowboarder's half pipe on the concrete island in the center of Times Square.

Produced by P.O.D. in collaboration with Glen Ballard (Dave Matthews Band, Aerosmith, Van Halen), "TESTIFY" is the band's most provocative and powerful work to date. The album, which made a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200, features extraordinary alliances with several like-minded artists, including acclaimed Hasidic artist Matisyahu (who lends his distinctive vocal talent to two roots-rock-reggae-flavored cuts) and the legendary Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., who guest on the rap-fuelled "On The Grind." Elsewhere, longtime followers of P.O.D. - aka "the Warriors" - will rejoice in many of the band's trademark sonics, from the full-on energy of "This Time" to the ferocious "Lights Out" and "Say Hello."

The poignant "Goodbye For Now" is following in the path of such previous P.O.D. hits as "Alive," "Youth Of The Nation," "Boom," and "Will You." The track continues its hold on the airplay charts, including both Active Rock and Rock outlets nationwide. In addition, "Goodbye For Now" is a top 3 with-a-bullet smash at Christian Rock radio.

The band kicked off 2006 with an explosive New Year's Eve outdoor performance atop the Pontiac Garage in New York City's Times Square - which aired on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Since then, P.O.D. has made a number of major TV appearances, including live performances on MTV's "Total Request Live," NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly."

Since the release of their first Atlantic album just six years ago, P.O.D. has earned global acclaim and multi-platinum sales for their trademark brand of uplifting power rock. Over their 14-year career, the band has logged a remarkable array of achievements, including worldwide sales exceeding seven million, three Grammy nominations, sold-out international concert tours, a series of top-charting rock radio hits, and four No 1 videos on MTV's "Total Request Live." Supported by their passionate fanbase of "Warriors," P.O.D. has proudly created what they describe as "a catalog of music that we want to respect and honor with each step into the future."
P.O.D. is: Sonny * Wuv * Traa * Truby.
