New Single, Album And Promo Trip Confirmed

Sydney, AU. (EMI Music Australia) - You may have been asking where she was. The girl who sang that 'Stuck' song. Well that girl was Stacie Orrico and she is back with a new hit single 'I'm Not Missing You' and an elegant new album, the soulful, R&B-powered 'Beautiful Awakening' which is being released on Virgin August 26th. Stacie has also confirmed she will be in Australia for a promotional tour September 25 – 29, visiting Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Stacie Orrico's story is a dream to many. She was discovered at 12, released a gold-selling debut album at 14, and travelled the globe to support her internationally best-selling follow-up at 17. By the age of 18, Stacie had sold more than 3.4 million albums worldwide. Stacie exploded into our Australian market in 2003 with her huge hit single 'Stuck' which was a No 3 Platinum selling single. She followed with another airplay hit single 'There's Gotta Be (More To Life).

After taking some well earned time out to experience a 'normal life', Stacie Orrico returns with a strong, mature new album. She wrote or co-wrote all of the tracks on 'Beautiful Awakening' including the first single 'I'm Not Missing You'. She also worked with a stellar team of pop/R+B producers such as Dallas Austin (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Pink, Kelis), KayGee, (Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Notorious B.I.G.) Bastiany (rapper Nas producer) and Novel (Dallas Austin protégé) to help craft 'Beautiful Awakening'.

'I'm Not Missing you' is at radio and TV this week. The stunning video for 'I'm Not Missing you' was directed by Diane Martel (Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey).
