San Francisco, CA (SOLA MUSA MUSIC) - Fall in bloom? Such is the case for innovative San Francisco electronic band, Karmacoda. The band has recently contributed music and scored the original soundtrack for Voyeur, a new feature length, independent film completed in August 2006 by first time San Francisco director, John Vasicek.

Voyeur is the story of Our Man, once a successful Hollywood Producer, who has fallen on hard times and finds himself at a struggling Oregon TV station. With the disappearance of a young girl from his show, he quickly realizes that in the world of reality television the performance isn't always in front of the lens.

Karmacoda Featured in New Line Cinema Release:
Concurrently, Karmacoda's song Where You Sleep is featured in New Line Cinema's feature, The Last Run, to be released fall 2006. The Last Run, starring Fred Savage (The Wonder Years), is a dark sexy comedy that confronts male/female relationships amidst a beauty obsessed and media driven society.

Karmacoda Finishes New Full-length Studio Album:
After taking a year-long hiatus from live performances to work in the studio, Karmacoda returns with their highly-anticipated third album, Illuminate. The new album offers 12 fresh tracks and represents a major move forward for the group, containing songs with strong hooks, melodies and an engaging evolution of their groove-laden electronic sound.

Illuminate, which was mastered by Andy VanDette (U2, David Bowie, Moby, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins) at Masterdisk, NYC is currently being presented to the music industry for label, film, television and licensing opportunities.

Karmacoda render human issues through the electronic medium, creating music to reflect the emotion of a specific time and space in our modern world. Karmacoda is Heather Pierce - lead vocals, Brett "B." Crockett - guitar / vocals / keyboards, Eric Matsuno - bass and Rafael Acevedo - DJ.

Karmacoda's award winning, independently produced and distributed music may be purchased at Amazon.com, CDbaby.com, and karmacoda.com
