NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Records) -- Nominated for four Country Music Association Awards, Carrie Underwood will bring her own style and grace to the red carpet on November 6th as she debuts a custom-designed gown created exclusively for her by Kwiat Diamonds and David Rodriguez. The 100 year-old diamond company and Underwood's favorite fashion designer recently approached her to create a one-of a-kind Kwiat Diamond Dress. This work of art is constructed with nearly 800 Kwiat diamonds on the straps of the gown, and is valued at approximately $850,000.

The Kwiat Diamond Dress Designed by David Rodriguez will be auctioned off for charity with a portion of the proceeds going to Underwood's charity of choice, The Humane Society of the United States for their Rural Area Veterinary Services Program and Kwiat's charity of choice, The Make-A-Wish Foundation. The on-line auction will begin on November 29th at GOTTAHAVEIT.com and will run through December 6th.

"The dress was designed specifically for Carrie and complements her style perfectly. And, the Kwiat diamonds add a whole new level of glamour to the dress. She'll be shining bright as she hits the red carpet," said David Rodriguez.

Underwood has worked with Rodriguez before, most recently for her 2006 Academy of Country Music Awards performance dress and her 2005 Country Music Association Awards red carpet dress. In addition, Underwood wore Kwiat diamonds for her 2006 return to American Idol where she performed her hit single "Don't Forget To Remember Me" on May 26th, as well as for her appearance the night before at the Academy of Country Music Association Awards on May 25th.

"We constructed the Kwiat Diamond Dress using the highest quality Kwiat diamonds in a tasteful and refined manner. This, combined with David's eye for detail resulted in a magnificent and sophisticated design, perfect for this rising star," said Greg Kwiat of Kwiat Diamonds. "She is such a successful young artist and we are proud to honor her recent accomplishments in this way."

"This is such an exciting night for me and I'm so honored that I can finally show off the culmination of many months of hard work between David Rodriguez and Kwiat Diamonds," said Underwood.

Underwood will reveal The Kwiat Diamond Dress Designed by David Rodriguez on the red carpet prior to the "The 40th Annual Country Music Association Awards" on Monday, November 6. Fans missing live pre-show CMA Awards red carpet activity can also see her in the dress on the ABC Television Network broadcast at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Underwood is the most nominated female artist at the 2006 CMA Awards with nods as Female Vocalist, Single of the Year ("Jesus, Take The Wheel"), Video of the Year ("Jesus, Take The Wheel") and Horizon Award as well as the "Jesus, Take The Wheel" nomination as Song of the Year, award will go to songwriters and publishers. Since her debut onto the country music scene at last year's CMA Awards, Underwood's album SOME HEARTS has sold 3.5 million copies and placed 3 singles in the #1 chart position, including current song "Before He Cheats." And as of this week, SOME HEARTS has sold more than any album currently on the 75-position Billboard Top Country Albums sales chart.
