Rock Kills Kid Cuts Single For O.C. Soundtrack At Odds On Recording

LOS ANGELES (Warner Bros. Records) - The Las Vegas-based alternative band, Rock Kills Kid, will be among several artists featured on Warner Bros. Records' newest O.C. soundtrack release, Music From The O.C.: Mix 6 – Covering Our Tracks, after cutting a remake of the Spoon hit, Turn My Camera On at Odds On Recording, the world-class, state-of-the art recording and CD/DVD manufacturing facility.

Rock Kills Kid drummer Mike Balboa has worked with Odds On Recording President Tom Parham for many years and was excited to have an opportunity to record in Parham's newest facility. "Odds On Recording's facility is amazing," says Balboa. "The room combines comfort with high-tech equipment – providing a relaxing atmosphere with the best gear in the business. Odds On's new SSL XL 9000K console helped produce a top-notch recording that we are proud to have featured as the second track on the new O.C. album."

According to Shawn Dailey, Rock Kills Kid bassist, the completed song has received tremendous positive response. "Our label loved it," Dailey admitted. "Everyone who heard it was crazy about it; a lot of people are going to enjoy listening to the song once it's out there."

Rock Kills Kid is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jeff Tucker, guitarist Sean Stopnik, bassist Shawn Dailey, keyboardist/guitarist Reed Calhoun and drummer Mike Balboa. Currently on the road with rock groups 30 Seconds To Mars and Head Automatica on the 30 city MTV2 $2Bill Tour, Rock Kills Kid is performing songs from its full-length debut album, Are You Nervous?
