Cody McCarver No 1 On CMT's Pure 12-Pack Countdown

Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ www.codymccarver.com)-CODY McCARVER continues to celebrate the success of 'Red Flag' from his debut release Peace, Love and Coondawgs with recent appearances on AT&T blue room and the No 1 video on CMT Pure.

CMT unveiled the top requested videos today on CMT Pure, airing in 17 million households and on CMT.com, and Cody's video 'Red Flag' has triumphed to garner the No 1 spot on the Pure 12-Pack Countdown. In addition, AT&T blue room is currently featuring exclusive interviews with Cody and performances of 'Red Flag,' 'Sunset Boulevard,' and 'Look What You've Done'—tracks from his debut album on Aspirion Records.

'The fans have really made this happen,' says Cody. 'The video and song 'Red Flag' took on a life of its own. I've become Dr. Phil online through the submission of stories on my website. It is incredible how many people can relate to the story. I hope they enjoy seeing the acoustic version of the song on blue room, too!'

Peace, Love and Coondawgs was produced by Csaba Petocz (Metallica, John Michael Montgomery) and mixed by Grammy Award Winner Chris Lord Alge (Green Day, Dave Matthews). The video for 'Red Flag' was produced by Billy Bob Thorton and directed by Myriam Santos-Kayda and features cameo appearances from Spider (Powerman 5000), W. Earl Brown (HBO's Deadwood, There's Something About Mary), and Dennis Haskins (Saved By The Bell).
