NEW YORK (Top 40 Charts Review) - As the gaming industry flourishes, so does its association with the music world. DMX, N.E.R.D., Method Man, Redman, Fugazi, and Cypress Hill are among the artists readying music for upcoming games.

Activision's Street Hoops, a street-wise basketball game for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, will feature the following tracks: DMX, "Who We Be"; Cypress Hill, "Lowrider"; Method Man and Redman, "Da Rockwilder"; Master P, "Make Em Say Ugh"; Xzibit, "Front 2 Back"; and Ludacris, "Rollout (My Business)".

In addition, the following instrumental tracks are featured in the game, which is due in August: Talib Kweli, "Gun Music"; Talib Kweli and Hi Tek, "Down for the Count"; Cocoa Brovaz, "Get Up" and "Extreme Situation"; Pharoahe Monch, "Right Here," "Livin It Up," and "No Mercy"; Mos Def and Pharoahe Monch, featuring Nate Dogg, "Oh No"; Skillz, "PA to VA," and "Y'all Don't Wanna"; Smut Peddlers, "That Smut" and "Bottom Feeders"; and Kool G Rap, "My Life" and "Planet of the Apes."

Meanwhile, a mix of rock and rap adorns Activision's soundtrack to Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 game, due later this summer for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
