MIAMI, Fl. (BMI Urban Awards) - Cam'Ron, the Neptunes, and Big Tymers are among the artists to receive the first BMI Urban Awards, which will be held Aug. 6 at Club Tropigala at the Fountainebleau Hilton Resorts & Towers in Miami Beach, Fla.

The rest of the recipients, who are being honored for the most-played urban songs on U.S. radio and television, are Nore, Lil' Wayne, Juvenile, Rockwilder, Mario Winans, and writer/producer Mike City.

The event will also feature a tribute to the night's BMI Icon Award honoree, James Brown, which will be produced by songwriters Rodney Jerkins and Cory Rooney and producers Dallas Austin and Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes.
