LOS ANGELES (Smallville Website) - Ryan Adams, Lifehouse, Sixpence None the Richer, Remy Zero, and Five for Fighting are among the artists contributing to Elektra Records' soundtrack to Smallville, due Feb. 25. The soundtrack includes Remy Zero's "Save Me," the theme to the hit WB show, and offerings from Lifehouse ("Everything"), Adams ("Nuclear"), and Five for Fighting ("Superman"). Additionally, the soundtrack features two contemporary acts taking on '80s hits. Sixpence None the Richer has donated its cover of Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" while Eva Cassidy's cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" is also offered. Tracks from VonRay, Steadman, and AM Radio will also be featured. VonRay 's "Inside Out" will be the first single from the soundtrack, a song the Orlando, Fla.-based band performed on Smallville this past Wednesday (Nov. 12). Steadman will also perform its track ("Wave Goodbye") on the show on the Feb. 25 episode. Elektra will release debuts from both bands in 2003.
