Kathy Griffin's New Album 'For Your Consideration' To Be Released June 17, 2008

NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Permanent Press Media) - With the June 17th release of For Your Consideration; Emmy Award winning comedian and star of 'My Life on the D-List,' Kathy Griffin, has set her sights on a Grammy Award. For Your Consideration was recorded live on February 17, 2008 at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts in Tracy, CA and will be released via Music with a Twist/RED. For Your Consideration is Kathy's way of saying 'I want my damn Grammy!' The fact is, Kathy has a big shelf... a shelf that an Emmy already sits upon and there's plenty of room for a Grammy.

Kathy's hit Bravo reality show, My Life on the D-List, begins its new season on June 12. During this season, viewers will get an inside look at the recording and upcoming launch of For Your Consideration. The show will offer a behind the scene's glimpse into this D-Lister's quest for a not only a Grammy nomination but a Grammy Award. As Kathy begins her pursuit for a Grammy, she also embarks on her national For Your Consideration tour beginning May 24th in Honolulu, HI at the Waikiki Shell and continuing through December.

Kathy's soon to be hoisted billboard in Los Angeles at Sunset and Laurel Canyon sums it up best, 'She's Got A Lot Of B****. But Not Nearly Enough Awards.'
