London (BBC) - Fatboy Slim, Air, and Daft Punk are the lead nominees for the 2001 Muzik Awards to be held in London Oct. 11, according to the BBC.

Fatboy Slim sees nods for Best Video ("Weapon of Choice"), Best DJ, and Best Remix ("Star 69" -- Timo Maas Remix); Air is up for Best Album (10,000 Hz Legend), Best Band, and Best Live Act; while Daft Punk grabs recognition for Best Album (Discovery), Best Single ("One More Time"), and Best Video ("One More Time").

In other interesting-nomination news, Eminem garnered a nod for Best Live Act; Outkast grabbed a nom for Best Album (Stankonia), and Missy Elliott received recognition for Best Single ("Get Ur Freak On"). The awards will be hosted by Pete Tong.
