MELBOURNE, Australia (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) - Jord Allen hits the Independent Music charts at No. 3, No 20 on the ARIA National 'Hit Seekers' chart and the ARIA National Charts at No. 59 for the week ending 10.11.08, with his single 'Get Happy' continuing to gain momentum.

This 19 year old has supported some of Australia's best music royalty like John & Rick Brewster from The Angels, The Black Sorrows, James Reyne, Russell Morris, Taxiride, Brian Cadd and Ross Wilson. He will also be supporting the King Of All Badasses Dave Evans original singer from AC/DC on the Long Live Live Music Show on Saturday December 13.

A prolific singer/songwriter with a sexy surfie look this performer started his career in his home town of Bendigo when he was 12. Jord picked up his Dad's guitar one day and never really put down again. He has built an amazing profile in a very short time. Rick Brewster says 'a very talented artist - he will go places'. His influences stem from the likes of Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens.

Jord's debut EP 'Get Happy' takes you on a journey of a young man finding his way through life's trials and tribulations, the highs and the lows of growing up. Songs like 'Make U More', 'Solution Key', 'Get Happy' and 'Missin' give you a real insight into Jord's development as a rising artist.

Jord has been touring vigorously throughout the year and will continue through December and January. The video clip for 'Get Happy' will be scene on Channel V in December. Jord's new album is in the works and due to be released in June 2009.

Jord will appear on a national campaign for SavvyTunes & SavvyTel and will feature on all Blue Pie digital stores, promotions and advertising both locally and internationally. The chart success he has obtained so quickly is phenomenal and he will be a household name incredibly soon.
