Having sold over 21 million albums, he has 22 No 1 hits, six GRAMMY Awards, five Country Music Awards, nine Academy of Country Music Awards and ten American Music Awards to his name. His most recent album Around the Bend, was nominated for two 2008 GRAMMY Awards, including one for Best Country Album of the Year. Around The Bend was received well by critics as Travis' 'return to his country roots' after several Christian albums. 'Ever since Randy Travis came onto the country scene in the 1980s, he's shown a remarkable ability to latch onto sterling material,' says Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times. Long-time collaborator, Kyle Lehning produced both Around the Bend and I Told You So, he explains, 'Randy Travis' journey as an artist has always been guided by his love and dedication to great country music. It has been my good fortune and privilege to be a part of that journey.'

Since making his debut with 1986's multi-platinum Storm's of Life, Travis has gone on to release many memorable albums including Always & Forever, Old 8x10, High Lonesome, This Is Me, Full Circle and Rise and Shine. His many hits include 'Forever and Ever, Amen,' 'Three Wooden Crosses,' '1982,' 'Diggin' Up Bones,' 'He Walked on Water,' 'Look Heart, No Hands' and 'Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart' among many others. His film appearances include Fire Down Below, Black Dog, Frank and Jess, The Rainmaker, Texas and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He also appeared in seven episodes of Touched By An Angel and has guest starred on series such as Matlock, Blues Clues, Hey Arnold and King of the Hill. In 2005, he was honored with a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, Travis was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1986, and on March 15, 2008, he had the privilege of inviting Carrie Underwood to become a member of the Opry after she performed his hit song, "I Told You So."
