Sonar Lands In The U.S.A.: May 12th NYC & May 14th Washington D.C.

NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Baryshnikov Arts Center Announcement) - Sonar is heading for the United States for the first time this year.
Sonar will be in New York on May 12th, thanks to its collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull, and in Washington on May 14th, thanks to the Spanish Embassy in the United States and the Institute of Culture of Mexico.
Sonar also travels to London for the fifth time; it's presence on May 15th will be as part of the Short Circuit festival, programming one of the nights in the refurbished Roundhouse, in Camden.

These three Sonar in the World events can be added to the festival's previous experiences in other countries and cities, such as Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Seoul, Guadalajara, Hamburg, Lisbon, Rome, Frankfurt and Lyon.

Sonar is organising a day of special concerts and performances in New York in the Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC), with a top class line-up that combines multimedia art ideas with experimental electronica and latest generation pop, and which includes both Catalan and American artists.

SonarSound Washington, 14th May
Thanks to the Spanish Embassy in the United States and the Cultural Institute of Mexico, Sonar comes to Washington for the first time to organise an event as part of the programme of activities 'Preview Spain. Arts & Culture09'.
SonarSound Washington is being held in the city's famous Cultural Institute of Mexico, with a programme that include two mexican artists (the veteran Panoptica and the promising Cubenx) and artists and projects from the national scene (ReacTable, Griffi + DJ2D2, Aqueel, d.a.r.y.l.).
