 NEW YORK (Daniel Bendingfield Fans Website) - Daniel Bedingfield visited the fictional town of Springfield Wednesday (July 9) - as he appeared as himself and performed his hit single "If You're Not The One" on the CBS soap, Guiding Light. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter taped the episode on June 13.
The dance version of the track is currently being used in CBS daytime's new summer promotional campaign, which is titled "Hot Enough For You."  Bedingfield said that he is already working on a follow up to his 2002 album Gotta Get Thru This. "I've been working on the next album," Bedingfield said. "I'm writing songs for it. It's kind of like a mix between Busta Rhymes and Nirvana, with like Coldplay, and Simon & Garfunkel. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it should be a laugh."
