New York (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - The Cherryholmes family - often referred to as today's "First Family Of Bluegrass" - has notched raves from Grammy nominations to praise for their unparalleled live shows on the road, and this fall they'll join a true legend (and a true "first"), Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys.

Cherryholmes will join Stanley for 4 dates in late October, culminating with a rare Los Angeles show for both at UCLA's Royce Hall, in the midst of an ambitious fall tour that includes headlining dates and festivals as well.

See below for the schedule, and here's what we've been hearing about Cherryholmes lately:

"Cherryholmes is an extremely flexible band...gracefully staging a musical conversation" - New York Times
