Toronto, Canada (Top40 Charts/ MuchMusic Video Awards) - As the countdown continues to the 2010 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS, MuchMusic announced today that Canada's biggest and baddest street party will be simulcast south of the border on Fuse, Madison Square Garden's national music television network. Now viewers across the U.S. can see all-star performers that include co-host Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Marianas Trench, Down With Webster, Drake and Hedley. The 2010 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS airs live from MuchMusic's Toronto HQ on Sunday, June 20 at 9 p.m. ET.

"The MMVAs are going to be where every music fan wants to be on June 20," said Brad Schwartz, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Much MTV Group, CTV Inc. "This partnership with Fuse brings the MMVAs live across the U.S., letting more people experience this amazing show. Nowhere else do fans have access to such an exciting street party like ours, with a chance to see the most-buzzed about musicians and the hottest celebrities. This also makes this show a great platform for the world to see our amazing Canadian talent!"

Based in the U.S., Fuse is a national television network exclusively dedicated to music that features live concerts, festivals, events, original series, and all-access interviews. The simulcast of the 2010 MMVAs is another example of how Fuse connects fans with their favorite musicians through entertaining and engaging music programming.

"Fuse is excited to partner with MuchMusic to air the MMVAs," said Sal LoCurto, Senior Vice President of Programming, Fuse. "The exclusive broadcast of this must-watch awards show reinforces that Fuse is the destination for the hottest music events and concerts, as well as programs featuring today's biggest artists." Media accreditation for U.S. media is extended until June 11 at www.muchmedia.ca. Presenters to be announced at a later date.

Official sponsors of the 2010 MMVAs on MuchMusic include Nokia, Playtex Sport, Procter & Gamble, Smarties, Stride Mega Mystery*, and Virgin Mobile Canada.
