Two-time Tony Award winner Ebersole, whose soprano voice was heard singing Noel Coward songs between scenes of the most recent Broadway revival of Blithe Spirit, has teamed up with Musical Director Larry Yurman on an album of Coward tunes. Ebersole will perform and sign CDs at in in-store appearance at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center, September 23rd at 7:30pm. On October 8th in NYC, Ebersole will perform as part of the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention's Night of Noel Coward at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater. Ebersole's last collaboration with Ghostlight, the popular Sunday In New York (with Billy Stritch,) earned rave reviews. The New York Daily News' Howard Kissell said "it is sensational," and Steven Suskin of Playbill praised it as "an irrepressible ride." Backstage's David Sheward: '... absolutely loving it;' NY Blade said that Ebersole has 'more interpretive power than just about any other singer I can bring to mind. Wow.' Talkin' Broadway buzzed: "There's infectious joy in the snazzy, crackling duets..." The new CD marks Ebersole's third collaboration with Ghostlight, the first being her solo CD In Your Dreams.

For her work in the dual roles of Edith Bouvier Beale and "Little" Edie Beale in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Grey Gardens, Christine Ebersole was honored with the Tony Award, the Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, an Obie, a special citation from the New York Drama Critics Circle and the Drama League's 2006 Distinguished Performance of the Year Award. She also received a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Dorothy Brock in the hit revival of 42nd Street and a 2003 Tony nomination for her performance in Lincoln Center's production of Dinner at Eight.
