New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Feeding Egon Official Website) - Slouch, 203-205 Bath Street, will host an 'Unplugged' style bands night on Tuesday 14th December, 2010. The night is the idea of local rock band Feeding Egon. Guitarist Michael Smith says, 'We're really looking forward to the challenge. We normally play all electric and quite loud, so it'll be a good test of our songwriting skills to turn some of the rockier songs into acoustic numbers.' Feeding Egon have been playing gigs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee since March 2010, and this will be their first unplugged set. Smith, 'We had one booked for May but it fell through. We've got more songs now, and we feel really up for it. It's gonna be a nice relaxing way to end 2010.' Also confirmed to play are The Minor Arcana, featuring Callum Calderwood on fiddle. 'We've recently added a bassist to the line-up, and this will be our first gig as a 4-piece so it will be really interesting to see how it goes.' The bands will be performing as full bands, as Smith explains. 'We didn't want to do it as just guitar and vocal, we wanted the whole band to be involved. I'm a big fan of the Alice in Chains Unplugged show, and really we're wanting to have fun and attempt something like that.' More acts will be announced shortly.
