Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Magic Tree Productions) - New York based singer/ songwriter Sinem Saniye will sing the national anthem at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in front of 20,000 before the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Phoenix Suns on December 26th. Sinem will also be a featured performer at the NBA Turkish Show, an all day event held across from the Staples Center at LA Live's Nokia Plaza after the game. The young singer's ethnic roots come from Turkey and she will join the Turkish community of Los Angeles in celebrating their rich cultural heritage with her Bossa Nova infused pop and distinct Middle-Eastern influences. Sinem's worked with Grammy nominated producers on her debut release,"When I Don't Sleep...". The album displays her skilled songwriting abilities and dynamic vocal talents and includes the singles "Are We In Love" and "I'll Confide". Sinem set out on a solo tour in 2010 that featured 30 dates in both the US and Canada and has won several high-profile songwriting awards including the Grand Prize in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Competition. Sinem has also been featured in publications such as Time Out New York, LA Examiner, and Global Rhythm. Earlier this year, a video was released for "I'll Confide" that has received airplay on MTV.
