Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ 440 Artist Alignment) - Laura Turner has crafted an unmistakable sound that unites her opera training with the emotional immediacy and grace of only the best pop songwriting. Blessed with uncommon purity and power, you could describe her voice as a gorgeous vocal recipe of Sarah McLaughlin meets Sade!

The dramatic video for her last single, "Soul Deep" has garnered over 18,000 views on YouTube. The video was shot by award winning Director Mike Lipscombe (Faith Hill, Tom Petty, Jewel, Bryan Adams) in Australia on a deserted beach about 400 miles north of Sydney, where the desert meets the ocean-very magical. But that is what Laura brings to her music- magic and grace. Laura has just released two Christmas Singles, "Mary Sweet Mary" and "Come as you Are." Laura co-wrote "Come As You Are" with acclaimed songwriter Keith Thomas who also produced both songs. Keith Thomas, a Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter with 40 No 1 Billboard hits, has produced such acts as, Amy Grant, Vanessa Williams, Bebe and CeCe Winans, LUTHER Vandross, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, and Gladys Knight.

While listening to a stunning voice like Laura's, it should comes as no surprise to learn that such an elegant voice has been developed and nurtured by many forms of teaching, structure, and freedom of expression.

Growing up in Houston, Texas, Laura was encouraged to explore her talent; high school was choirs, musicals and guitar lessons with songs and stylings of icons like Pat Benatar, Whitney Houston, and Emmylou Harris. Laura later received a degree in vocal performance, and was classically trained at the Chigiana School of Music in Siena Italy under a coach from Julliard School of music. The deeper she got into her craft, the more she longed for creative individuality; she found herself wanting to find a path more true to her being. She found her balance recording her last record ';Soul Deep' and gracefully dove into a new state of growth after its release.

The atmosphere of her new Christmas songs showcases her artistic growth and soothes the listener into the Christmas spirit; "Mary, Sweet Mary" is elegant and cinematic with a classical vocal touch in the spine of the track heightening the inspirational message. "Come As You Are" has a cool vibe to it with a traditional coda that every listener will recognize. Both songs are to be included in a children's' Christmas book for 2011.

And that's not all that's coming next year, Laura Turner and Keith Thomas are working on a new project, also set to be released in 2011. As Laura said, "Working with Keith has been amazing! We both enjoyed making these Christmas songs so much that we decided to put them out this year, we were just so excited to share them! That's the wonderful thing about Christmas songs; they are the gift that keeps on giving!"
