Voxhaul Broadcast Release Highly Anticipated Debut Full-length 'Timing Is Everything' On March 22, 2011
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ TIJUANA GIFT SHOP) "Fast-rising soul-pop quartet" (LA Times) VOXHAUL BROADCAST are thrilling all the right people. The group is a mainstay at influential radio station KCRW and labeled one of LA's "Best New Indie Bands" by industry tastemaker Nic Harcourt. LA Weekly's Paul Rogers agrees, "Even in an era of overnight sensations, Voxhaul Broadcast's career trajectory has been astonishing of late."

Great things take time and VOXHAUL BROADCAST is set to release their long-awaited debut full-length, Timing Is Everything on March 22, 2011.

Produced by Grammy Award winning producer Tom Biller (Silver Sun Pickups, Seawolf, Liars) with additional production from Chris Thorne (Blind Melon), Timing Is Everything captures the power of the quartet's live performances while still holding true to their trademark blend of r&b, rock and soul.

The still unreleased album was No 4 on KCRW'S "Top 50 Most Played Albums" in the final weeks of 2010 and came in at No 67 on KCRW's "Most Played Records of 2010." Staple stations KEXP, KROQ & WXPN have been previewing tracks from the full length as well.

Licensing has also jumped on board with VB, as they'll be featured in an upcoming Michelob Ultra commercial with Lance Armstrong set to air during the Superbowl on Feb 6. Expanding their musical reach to every medium, Voxhaul's music can now be heard in movie trailers (Life As We Know It), commercials (Toms Shoes), TV shows (CSI) & promotional videos (Marc Jacobs).

The lead track from Timing Is Everything is "Leaving On The 5th," a track described by Claire Lobenfeld of RCRD LBL as "R&B-tinged, fuzzy indie fuel." Bruce Warren of WXPN adds, "The band sport of very soulful take on 'classic' rock and from the sound of this totally drivin' new song have some stylish swagger and hooks galore. There's a lot of well deserved buzz on this band."

"Leaving On The 5th" debuted through FILTER Magazine and has been featured by Under The Radar, Buzz Bands LA, KCRW, KROQ WXPN & WNYC. RCRD LBL also posted the JUMP CLUBB remix with the album track and KEXP is featuring the track as their SONG OF THE DAY today.

"This Orange County four-piece have a rock and soul sound and swagger that could be just as easily at home in Manchester as it is in their native Los Angeles... Sort of a Cold War Kids meets Otis Redding meets early Kings of Leon."
- Jason Kinnard, KEXP

Timing Was Everything covers a range of emotions, tempos and tales, but a final theme develops. Singer/guitarist David Dennis says, "There was no specific message I had in mind when I started writing this album, but I think by the end, one of the main themes that carried through a lot of the songs was finding whatever gets you free and letting it take over."

"All of the times I couldn't have felt more lost, and all of the times I felt I was right where I should be are all a part of finding what that is."

Voxhaul Broadcast are performing at NOISE POP in San Fran in February w/ Yo La Tengo & Best Coast and were in the first round of accepted artists to showcase at SXSW in 2011. They'll be heading out on a run of dates with Wind Up's Civil Twilight in March before heading to Austin, with touring to continue through the summer.

Playing with everyone from Massive Attack, DJ Sebastian Tellier, and Thievery Corporation to headlining Fashion Week parties, a Rock & Roll Circus and music and film festivals, Voxhaul Broadcast have made waves not only within the music industry but in all facets of the entertainment world. As Douglas Q. Smith from WNYC said, "Now may be the time to catch the quartet before it blows up."

"The beauty of their sound is that it serves something for everyone - from scruffy Strokes-y strut to supple Motown grooves and aching classic soul - without ever devolving into a people-pleasing compromise. Shimmery guitars, suggestive beats and rubbery bass converse with (rather than around) David Dennis' imploring inquisitive vocals."
- Paul Rogers, LA WEEKLY

"The live shows reflect the passion that has etched them a reputation as one of SoCal's best live bands... Musical influences range from classic soul to Manchester swagger to the grit rock of the Pixies. Marry this with smart but unpretentious lyrics and some catchy beats, and there's something seriously going on here."
- Nic Harcourt, LA MAGAZINE

"With Dennis' natural rock star personality-he genuinely made ladies swoon when he crept into the audience at the end of the band's set-and their cock rock tendencies, it would not surprise me if Voxhaul Broadcast was huge by this time next year."
- NY Press

"L.A.'s Voxhaul Broadcast shut everyone up for a while with some bluesy psychedelic strutting and dancing."
- Village Voice

"Voxhaul's amalgam of Motown-infused, British invasion floor-stompers come from pure energy."
- Flaunt

"Voxhaul Broadcast plays indie rock mixed with Motown soul. Think Beatles with a splash of James Brown."
- Joel Hersch, Santa Cruz Sentinel
